Art against War

Volunteering

We are Mariana Sadovska and Andre Erlen—a singer and a theater maker from Cologne. In February 2022, we founded the initiative "ART AGAINST WAR" together with fellow artists. We raise funds to purchase humanitarian aid and equipment for Ukrainian defense forces, delivering these supplies directly to the places where they are needed to save lives. Our aid primarily supports fellow artists who are serving in the military and are therefore currently unable to pursue their art. Since 2022, we have raised and distributed over €230,000. We collaborate with PEN Ukraine and Cultural Shock from Kharkiv, Repair Together and other NGO from Ukraine.

Together we will win!
