I organised a trip to Bessarabia for the Gardzenice Theatre expedition in 1993. Since childhood, I knew from my mother's stories that Bulgarians, Moldovans, Gagauzes and Roma lived in this region. Unfortunately, I have only a few photos from this trip. All the recordings are kept in the archive of the Gardzenice Theatre and, I hope, can be accessed.
