Unfortunately, I got to Slobozhanshchyna only in 2016, when I went on a charity tour of the frontline cities organised by Olha Kovalevska, Oksana Proselkova, Tetiana Ostapchuk, Markiyan Ivashchyshyn, and Mykola Homaniuk. Towns Sumy, Putivl, Okhtyrka, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, Kherson, and Mykolaiv.
Olha Kovalevska organised a trip to the village of Komyshivka and a meeting with the local band in Lebedyn. It was in Komyshivka that I first heard a carol sung for a soldier.
