Dear everyone!

I will not write a long and detailed report now.

I will summarize everything in a few points:

  • yes, the resistance in Ukraine continues. At all levels. According to the "rule": either you are in the army or you work for the army. Again and again my friends artists join the army… For example, theater director Olena Apchel, critic and writer Oleksii Palianychka… (I will not list them all…) I bow to all of them and we are waiting for a victorious return home.

How much I wish to have no needs to ask for donations, write reports, etc... How much I wish this nightmare would end and you and I would only think about goodness, creativity, art, summer, children, ecology....

The media are dispersing information about russia's new major offensive against Ukraine at the end of May beginning of June…

In Ukraine, my friends prepare festivals, projects, publish books, create theater plays, open underground schools, compose music...

Thanks to my dear father-in-law, who wished a donation to Ukraine instead of gifts for his 80th birthday! 

These funds went to the collection for the poet Artem Polezhaka!

Today I am 51 and I finally have time to write a report.
The best gift is a message from the front that our vehicles are performing tasks, evacuating the wounded…

I wish to be able to personally thank each and every one of you… I don't know many of you... But I have to name pastor Hans Mörter and his wife Sonja Grupe from Südstadt-Leben e.V. Also to all those whom I do not even know personally, but who, starting from February 24 2022, regularly transfer funds to us. These are 10 or 20 or 50 euros, the regularity of which is simply crusual.

Art helps us to overcome fear and share strength and support in this fight against evil - these words were recently said by Serhiy Zhadan during his speech in Munich.

Svitlana Kundish recalled the words of Rabbi Nachman:“Everything in the world - everything that exists and everything that happens - is a test, the purpose of which is to give you freedom of choice. Choose wisely. Know this. The whole world is a very, very narrow bridge... And the main thing is not to be afraid at all!“
